A Windy Road to Close

By Jon Lawson, June 8, 2021

The road to close isn’t always an easy one but it’s always worth it in the end. For my two clients, their journey to get the keys to their new home was more than difficult. There were a lot of curveballs that we took with this one and a lot of times that it seemed like we wouldn’t make it to the finish line. With every bump in the road, we spent a lot of time chatting about the different options they had and ultimately kept pushing forward. With great communication, a positive attitude, and a lot of flexibility, my clients landed their dream home in Columbia City! Both old friends from Minnesota, it was such an honor to get to help them out with such a big moment in their lives. The two have steady careers that they very much enjoy; one is an electrician and the other is a Beverage director at one of the cities top restaurants. Their work lives were in a good place and they decided it was time to make an adjustment to their lifestyle. Living in Portland had its perks, but a more peaceful atmosphere was calling their name. When they found the home in quiet Columbia City, we all knew it was the one. My clients were so flexible and patient throughout the entire process and it all paid off, I couldn’t be happier for them to finally get the keys to their new home and be able to settle in!
