Big shout out to my dear colleague and fairy godmother Patti Sue LeGendre, who put together the most amazing art show with works by talented Portland artist Kathan Zerzan.
What was the occasion? You might ask… After living in her studio/residence for more than 20 years, Kathan decided to sell. Right from the start, the big elephant in the room was what to do with the superb body of work hanging on walls, half finished in the studio or stored in the basement.
Enter the scene Patti Sue, with her keen eye for quality and design. She came to help hosting an open house and, upon discovering the museum quality paintings, drawings and sculptures screaming to be admired, she proposed Kathan to organize an art show.
Sure enough, as the house got into contract and we were approaching closing, Patti Sue found the most gorgeous venue to showcase Kathan’s work.
The art show was a big success and the house got sold. Both events made my customer ecstatic and in awe of how much work was put into making her dreams come true.
