Greg, Erin and Davis are the family you hope to see hopping out of a U-Haul or unloading a Pod on your street. Creative, smart (Greg a local veterinarian, Erin a Speech Language Pathologist), epic dance moves (witnessed at a recent wedding) and a baby that’s Pixar-cute (see photo above – he may be available for hire), this sweet family was so much fun to work with and Beaumont Wilshire is lucky to have them!
Greg and Erin’s love story began in Portland at Prost. Almost 6 years later, a wedding, move to San Diego, baby, and move back up to Portland (sorry, San Diego!), they began looking for their first home a few months ago. Narrowing in on North and Northeast Portland, their “must-have” list was short: close to family and friends, good schools and a walkable neighborhood. They also wanted a home that they could quickly settle into, but had room to make their own.
We visited this Beaumont Wilshire beauty a few times and they fell in love with the corner lot, Wilshire park views and original details that had been thoughtfully left in tact. Erin’s dreaming of a new kitchen, so we soon started sharing design ideas on Pinterest that could work for their current layout.
Because of the current market, we were able to negotiate a price under ask. And super bonus, the Seller allowed them to move into the house before close, which thankfully avoided the pitfalls of having to find a transition rental.
