Before/After: A Rose City Park Tudor Makeover

By Living Room Realty, February 6, 2018

This ~3k sqft Rose City Park Tudor had great bones and a lot going for it but with a lot of wear and tear and an odd floor-plan, there was work to do. A large shed dormer was built in the ’70s to add bedrooms upstairs. It had a long hallway with 4 medium/small kid’s rooms. We moved walls, added windows and created a massive master suite with a spacious bathroom and dressing room. It went from a 6 bed / 2 bath to a 4 bed / 3 bath.

By opening up the wall between the kitchen and the dining room as well as infilling a wall between the kitchen and a hallway to allow for a longer cabinet run, we created a larger, more usable kitchen with a nice flow through to the dining and living rooms.

The finishing touches included installing a new mini-split heat/AC system upstairs, some new hardwood flooring, some new carpet, refinishing existing hardwoods, remodeling the existing main floor bath, finishing most of the basement, all new paint, and dialing in the backyard. Perfectly ready for the next family!
