Ally, a native Portlander and her husband Don, from Colorado, needed a house, QUICK!
They had just moved back to the PNW from Boston with their 2 year old daughter Evie and Wheaten Terrier, “Rhodie”.
We didn’t have time to spare, baby brother was on his way in about 6 weeks!
The house they fell in love with didn’t have EVERYTHING. What it lacked (being one half-bath short) it gained in character.
Perched on a corner lot, the bungalow gathered bright southwest light, an awesome garden, privacy, walkability and one stellar neighborhood.
On paper, the house didn’t check every single box, but in person Ally and Don agreed: we can work with this!
Start to finish Ally, Don, Evie, Rhodie and soon to come, baby brother were in their new home in about 6 weeks flat!
