Clients who inspire…I’m lucky to have more than a few of these! That is one thing I’ve been really excited about this year: all the amazing Portland business owners I have as clients and friends, and finding ways to share them with you. Meet Mattie and Jon. Some months ago, this duo welcomed a new addition to the family (the ever-adorable Zuri), and we helped them find a new home. Now, these three are settled in their new house, and what a gorgeous home they’ve created.
Introduced to me by my friend and go-to stager extraordinaire, Kat, Mattie is a person with so many talents. Professionally she’s a graphic designer, brand expert, blogger, social media master, coach for other entrepreneurs, and owner/mastermind of Green Tie Studio, a full-service design house based in Portland offering “thoughtful brand messaging and design that connects with your audience so you can focus on what you do best for your small business.”
After getting to know Mattie and seeing some of her work, it’s clear her design biz is one to watch. I asked Mattie some questions so you could get to know her too. We have a common thread…we’re drawn to big ideas, to solving problems. I see such similarity in her creation of Forth Guide (read on to find out more) and my idea for Sphere, both creating the tools we wish we had when starting out in our respective businesses (and both having our best ideas in the shower). Mattie is so awesome, and my hope is by reading on maybe you find that graphic designer, branding specialist, and friend you’ve been looking for!
