Closer to Family

By Living Room Realty, November 12, 2021

Our clients move for a vast range of reasons, and for my client S, this move is all about family. With a sister, brother-in-law, and niece all in Portland, it was a no-brainer that Portland would be the next place she called home. S had a vision for her next home – a smaller place but one that was roomie enough for her and her pup, and something in a good neighborhood that was walkable. The only thing standing in the way was a crazy market!

We landed a wonderful home in a desirable neighborhood and were jumping for joy when we heard our offer was accepted. Things don’t always work out the way you anticipate though and it wasn’t long until we were back on the house hunt. We kept our eyes peeled and our hopes high for finding another place that checked all of the boxes, and we found it!

Nestled in the trees on a sweet cul de sac, we knew right away this home was everything we were looking for. Sometimes our journey to homebuying throws some curveballs our way, but in the end life has a way of working out! I am thrilled for S to start her new chapter in this home that’s close to family, and to finally give her the keys to her first Portland home.

Looking to make a move? I’d love to work with you!
