My seller accepted an offer on this beautiful piece of property just before Oregon felt the effects of COVID-19. Inspections were finished, repairs agreed upon. Everything was settled and moving forward toward closing. Then COVID 19 hit Oregon hard. The buyer’s jobs were both effected, causing much stress. Jumbo loans disappeared, making financing for these buyers seem like an impossibility. It’s times like these that the value of a great agent really comes into play. The easy thing may be letting the sale fall apart. However, instead of terminating when all parties want to move forward, great agents dig in their heels and find a way to make things happen. We came up with creative terms that allowed the deal to close. We are so pleased the seller was able to sell and the buyer can make this place their dream home.
