Everyone has been talking about the market slowdown and how much things are changing, but I’m just heading into my busy season.
For whatever reason, I sell lots of homes to young families in the fall/winter! One change I HAVE been noticing, however, is a shift in the popularity of Southwest Portland. In 2016-2017, I was mostly working in N and NE, but now, I’m all Multnomah Village/Ash Creek/Hillsdale, ALL THE TIME. It’s actually been pretty nice since I live in Garden Home.
Gavin and Jackie (and their adorable little girl!) were searching for a home in the perfect SW location – walkable to shops/restaurants, in a good school district, at least three bedrooms and not too many immediate fixes. After backing out of one sale due to a poor inspection, we found this gem near Gabriel Park and the SW Community Center! SCORE!
These guys are thrilled in their new home, and I’m thrilled to have gotten them there. Thinking about moving to SW? Drop me a line! I’m into it!
