Business and friends can mix, mingle, and even party a little!
It’s happened again, some good friends came to me to represent them in the purchase of their first home. I am honored to be a resource to my community of friends and when I get this opportunity, I treat it with respect.
Andy and Jessie are getting married in the spring and the time was right to start the year with a home of their own. Their families are super excited and helpful as trusted advisors. Our time was well spent getting familiar with the market and sussing out a location that would work for the both of them. When Jess and I found the house, we had Andy come out to see it the same day. It was clear this would be a wonderful home for them as long as they would like to live there. It has all the ingredients to be forever home.
Andy and I have known one another for more than a handful of years and he was the officiant for my wedding. So yeah, we’re those kind of friends. I started talking to Andy about buying a home four or five years ago but there has always been a stipulation on working together: it cannot jeopardize the friendship, because the friendship is more important than the business. Well, I’m looking forward to giving my friends Andy and Jessie the keys to their new home this week and really appreciate the trust they have in me to be of service, in the profession I love.
Congratulation Andy and Jessica! I’m sure yours will be a happy home for many years to come and we will totally come out and see you in Gresham!
