The Cookie Home ~ Real Estate through the Eyes of a 4 Year Old

By Living Room Realty, September 12, 2018

When I first met Auden and his mom, Judy-Ann, they had just stepped off a plane coming from Washington DC that had been postponed for hours.  I was skeptical at best that Judy-Ann would be up for seeing homes after that kind of day, let alone her 4 year old son.  But he did GREAT!  I mean truly great.  It was my first time showing either of them houses, and I was just so impressed with that little man.

Over the next few weeks, Auden and I developed a friendship and saw many homes together.  He was thoughtful and wise in the process … he didn’t like the “smelly” house, and I can’t blame him!  Another didn’t have a very good yard for playing.  But after hearing about the house that served cookies at their open, I knew it was true love!

We went back to see the cookie house together, and although there were no longer cookies there, I know he had picked a winner!  An adorable 1920s bungalow on a quiet tree-lined street of the Roseway.  Such a sweet home, complete with two fireplaces, craftsman charm, an oversized lot, and maybe some hardwood under the carpet!  I’m so excited for Auden and his family to have many happy years in this gem of a home.  Well done Auden!
