Dream Big

By Lauren Hurley, November 4, 2019

It’s a good time of year to make offers, even one that is significantly below asking price. I love a challenge, and often encourage my clients to write and see what happens. While keeping expectations reasonable, I say the most offensive offer is the one not written. When James & Kate wanted to go for a house that was $75,000 over budget but had been on the market for 30 days with one price reduction, I encouraged them to throw one out there. With some fancy footwork, creative terms, and solid research, they were quickly under contract for their dream home. A fabulous traditional, positioned high on a hill with a two mountain view, close to trails to walk the dogs & take in the fresh air. They are still pinching themselves. Dream big, be brave!
