Enjoying the Sunshine in Roseway.

By Matt Guy, June 24, 2021

Excited to soak up some of the Portland sun while it’s here?  We all are. Every neighborhood has a spot to soak up the sun, and get some of that Vitamin D we need! In Roseway they have the cutest neighborhood parks. A great way to go out in your community and get to know your neighborhood.

Enjoy a walk down Roseway Parkway. In between Freemont and Prescott on 72nd is the perfect green space for your family! Take the dog for a nice jog, or take the kids on a walk through this park. Locals say this is such a great neighborhood treat and is even a cherry blossom grove during the springtime. It’s such a great place for getting outdoor and even having a picnic on a blanket with some friends.

Another place to enjoy the outdoor, with a little more structure, is Wellington Park. Enjoy a sports field, picnic tables, and a pretty big play structure. With its paved pathways, it’s a great place to take the stroller or wagon out! You don’t have to have kids to enjoy the park, maybe it’s time to start back up that ultimate frisbee league with your friends?
