Lauren and Dennis moved to the Las Vegas heat from Seattle a few years ago. The drastic change in weather lead Lauren to contact me in search of a Pacific northwest retreat. The Pearl District met all of their needs for walkability, abundance of restaurants, shopping and transit. They plan to leave their car behind in Vegas and take full advantage of walking in the lovely northwest weather.
After a weekend visit to Portland to tour condos we just didn’t find the right one. The day after going back to Vegas a condo on the riverfront in the Pearl came to market. Time to make a second trip! Lauren and Dennis came back to Portland the next week and the view of the Willamette River was too beautiful to pass up. After some negotiation with the sellers they were able to get under contract for the condo and close in a few short weeks.
