Blog Buyer Even Better than Expected

Even Better than Expected

By Sharon Bloudek, July 14, 2021

Sometimes plans go array and the end result is even better than expected. My client first reached out to me after coming across my website and reading my bio. She thought we might be a good fit and decided to give it a call, and I am so happy that she did! Not only is she an amazing person, but she also works as a Covid researcher at OHSU and is working non-stop to help the world (pretty admirable if you ask me!)

When we first began her homebuying journey, she was living in a place that was up for sale. She really loved living there and wanted to look into the option of buying it, but she kept her eyes open for other options out there. Turns out, she found some even better-suited places. Two offers in and we got one accepted! It was such an exciting event for both of us, but that excitement quickly faded through the inspection process. The home she had fallen in love with ended up needing some pretty large repairs and the price was already set on the higher side for her. It was sad, but after deliberation my client decided she would continue the search for her perfect home.

Heartbroken, we set out to look at more homes. Our spirits were lifted after we found a gem, right in the heart of Multnomah Village! An even better home in an even better location!  The Village offers nearby restaurants, coffee shops, bus lines (especially one that takes her to OHSU), and more, all within walking distance. The home itself offers a spacious bedroom with a huge walk-in closet, room for an at-home office, and a room for guests to come and stay. My client was thrilled that her dreams came true and she was able to land this amazing home in Multnomah Village.

There were so many things that made this story one for the books but above else, my client was absolutely amazing to work with. She kept a positive attitude throughout every bump in the road and it all paid off. I am so honored to have the chance to work with her and was so happy to give her the keys to her very own home!
