I just want to say “Congratulations!” to my renovation client, Dennis Leiphon, for closing on this beautiful Laurelhurst home today. The home was last on the market 43 years ago. At 105 years old, it has clearly been cared for well. An early example of Portland’s Colonial architecture, it was built at a time – 1914 – when many homes being built were bungalows. It has the signature Colonial formal entryway and large living room, formal dining room and four upstairs bedrooms. The home needs a bit of updating which Dennis will do beautifully and carefully, taking the home’s original character into account. I can’t wait to present it to all of you again when Dennis is finished with the project!

Greg Washington was born and raised in NE Portland’s Sabin neighborhood. He attended Sabin Elementary (then a K-8, as now) and Cleveland High School.
Greg is a Principal Broker and an Earth Advantage Certified Broker. He has been working as a REALTOR® in the Greater Portland area for almost 30 years. Before becoming a REALTOR®, Greg worked in the restaurant industry at Jake's Famous Crawfish and McCormick and Schmick's.
