Verde Cocina is committed to those three things above all else. Chef Noé and his wife Anna met while working in a restaurant in Monterey Bay, California. Through luck and impeccable timing they were able to open their first restaurant in Portland in 2009. In the midst of one of the worst recessions in generations, their commitment to healthy, delicious food made their restaurant a success.
They continue to feature the best that the Pacific Northwest has to offer as well as having options for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are looking for Paleo, vegan, or just great Mexican food, you will find something delicious at Verde Cocina. Their committment to their fresh and healthy way of cooking inspired them to embrace a grammatically incorrect name. Usually, it would be Cocina Verde, but with “Verde” first, people can’t help but think of the fresh food they will find every time they go eat there.
