This is Kristin and Dante. I met them both on a rainy afternoon out in Sherwood. Initially Kristin wasn’t quite sure about leaving city life for the suburbs. Though with Dante’s school years fast approaching she knew that she wanted to start putting down roots in a place with an amazing sense of community for the family.
Kristin had friends that lived in Sherwood and was familiar with the area, but not so much the community. This was an amazing opportunity for me to share my love for Sherwood. I grew up there and could speak first hand about my experiences in the area.
We ended up spending our first afternoon only viewing one property. We spent the rest of the time at Snyder park watching Dante play. It was the same park I played at with my friend growing up and spent time with my family and it was amazing to share old stories.
After that afternoon Kristin knew Sherwood was the community for them. About a week later we pulled up to the house Kristin would end up falling in love with. The children’s toys in the neighboring yards immediate felt right. When we walked in to find huge windows and big living spaces it all really felt like a bonus.
