In my ongoing efforts to bring all the loved ones to Portland… enter Maya and Greg. They are parents to my very best friend, Jess. They grew up in Eugene, OR and have been living there ever since. Enter grandkids. Jess and her family live in Portland, and when Jess announced baby #2 was coming, Maya and Greg knew they needed to be closer. They grappled with the decision, moving from their incredible acre property in Eugene where they hosted weekly Friday happy hours. But alas, they are choosing family over everything. We found them a beautiful home with a lush backyard, water features, and entertaining space galore. I know they’ll carry on their social gatherings and continue to bring together community in their new neighborhood. Cheers to community, love, and family over everything – congratulations Maya and Greg!
