Find Your Next OOTD (OO TA DA!) at These 5 Hollywood District Vintage Shops!

By Kris Vogt, October 13, 2021

Become the vintage celebrity you’ve been dreaming of by doing a shopping tour of NE Portland’s Hollywood district. Here are my top five picks for finding that perfect piece that makes your heart sing!

The Arc Thrift Store: Not only are you finding your next OOTD (Outfit Of The Day or OO TADA!), but you’re also supporting a local non-profit that specializes in “advocacy, support, and services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities”. A double win! Supporting an awesome cause and getting something cool to wear!

Cactus Records & Vintage: Add a little spice with the diverse offerings from Cactus Records & Vintage. Bohemian to Grunge, you’re sure to find something that fits your style or pushes your boundaries into something new!

ReRun: Maybe you’re looking for a little something extra for your room? In addition to awesome clothing, you can find housewares at ReRun. From large furniture to artwork, ReRun has you covered. ReRun prides itself on being part of its community. In non-COVID times, ReRun has held several free community events, activities for kids, and even gives teachers a discount!

Hollywood Vintage: Have you really lived in Portland if you haven’t gone to Hollywood Vintage at least once? This store is a treasure trove of diverse styles. Looking for a new home for your patches and enamel pins? Look no further, because Hollywood vintage has jean and leather jackets galore!

Red Light Clothing Exchange: Not only a haven for vintage t-shirts but Red Light Clothing Exchange is home to fabulous costumes and hats! A really good place to find the essentials for your DisneyBounding or low-key comic-con dreams.

You never know what you might find at these stores, that’s what makes it an adventure!

Upon her return to PDX she worked as a producer in some of the top creative agencies in the city. Kris and her husband rehabbed a few homes, and in bringing her own flair to the process, she decided to combine her passion and love of community into a real estate career.  Kris works  with investors, buyers and sellers here in Portland and wants to hear what others love about Portland and help them find their happy place.
