First Time Homebuyer

First time homebuyers are one of my favorite types of clients. I love helping them learn about the home buying process and making the dream of homeownership and having a place of their own come true! I also enjoy meeting the support system of first time homebuyers. These people are also an important part of achieving the end goal of owning a house.

Before I met Katherine in person, I knew she had a great support network and that they would help me guide her through the process. Katherine’s sister was planning to go with us on the first day of touring homes. Her sister was busy, but her mother was able to step in. Later on, during the home inspection, I was able to meet Katherine’s brother. He is an experienced home owner and was there to help with the discussion of critical repairs versus those that could be done down the road. Katherine’s father was also an important part of the equation when it came to negotiating repairs. I loved seeing how they supported my buyer and helped make a process that can be big and intimidating much more manageable.
