Blog Stories Five Things from Gab

Five Things from Gab

By Living Room Realty, August 11, 2021

Hi, Readers!

So a few things to remember when it comes to real estate:

  1. Be prepared: Get your finances in order, understand your purchase power. This is so important, to avoid heartbreak, confusion, and wasted time
  2. Understand your threshold: Do you want a project? Are you definitely NOT a DIY’er? Are bathtubs important? Do you want a garden? Is it a five year house? A stepping stone? These are all important questions to ask yourself.
  3. Be patient: Sometimes it happens right away. Sometimes it takes months or even year+… but trust the process, it will happen
  4. Ask questions: There is a LOT to learn about what goes into a real estate transaction, and all the bits and pieces involved. Hopefully you pick me to be your broker to help guide you thru this process and please know, (corny cliche time) no question is a bad question
  5. Keep an open mind: One of the things I’m hearing I’m real, real good at is helping people “see” what the house can be. Whether it’s where the furniture can go, what a paint job will do to a place, or information about an up and coming neighborhood pocket. It’s important to stay flexible and open minded.

Yes, there is a lot to understand with real estate market, and while it’s not on the top 5, it’s definitely a biggie: it’s really important to find the right partner in this process. Give me a call and let’s see if we can high five and make some magic happen. 503 388 2788
