I met Chris 8 years ago.. I was at happy hour with a girlfriend at Matador on 23rd sipping tequila, when a quirky New Yorker strolled up solo and said something (likely) inappropriate yet hilarious. It was love at first laugh, the kind of friendship that is instant and fierce. My buddy and I gladly parted chairs as he bellied up to the bar and had us laughing until the bar lights flickered on, inviting us to head on home. He felt like a long-lost brother, stumbling back into my life. We’ve been through furniture shopping, a few heart breaks, happy hours, bar hopping, and concerts- all done over endless hours of brotherly banter. My love for Chris runs deep and I genuinely mean it when I say, he is a friend for life. I was incredibly honored when he approached me about becoming a permanent West Coaster by planting roots in Portland. The process wasn’t quick, but man was it fun! It’s fair to say we saw 40+ homes over the last year, and just as I kept promising- we found the perfect fit! Chris, I adore you! Congrats on your van down by the river, it’s completely bad ass.. just like you.
