Blog Stories "Get your big boy pants on, this is happening!"

“Get your big boy pants on, this is happening!”

By Erin Primrose, August 6, 2019

Every once in a while a transaction that keeps you on your toes knocks you off your feet, and this one did time and time again. So much so that as I sit down to write this blog, I can’t yet bring myself to recollect the events that eventually led to keys…It was painful! Our team powered through, and my champion Buyers stuck it out to the end despite everything the process and the house threw at them. I kept going back to the old adage of “like child birth, this is going to be so worth it in the end.”¬† Below are just a few excerpts (in sequential order) of this roller coaster ride that kept us all going and smiling even when things got tough. We so earned that shot of whiskey – congrats S&J, I cannot wait to see this home after you get your hands on this home!

“Looking forward to giving this a shot with you!”

“Argh contractors – always running super early or lateūü§£”

“This form protects you from having to move forward on the home in “as is” condition and protects your earnest money.”

“Whoa! Are you going to have a cute little fixer upper?!? Doing this!”

“You mentioned something about some chemicals in the area or near it. Can you tell me more about that?”

“Also, spoons are apparently used for white drugs. #TheMoreYouKnow”

“How do you feel? Like you got hit by a truck, and revived on a sidewalk next to a dive bar?”

“Get your “big boy” pants on this is happening ūü§£”

“I was born for big boy pants ;)”

“I officially have keys in hand!!!”

“Grabbing sage! Running 5ish behind… See you soon”

I would love to be part of your next move…

I am thrilled to serve as a connector of buyers, sellers and everything this amazing city has to offer. Being an Oregon native, my passion is continuously fueled by the character and history of each neighborhood, local hangouts, and the abundance of nature found in and around Portland. I am proud to have found a perfect balance between success and advocacy, with the goal of those I work with feeling as if they are my only client.  People tell me I have a playful, yet warm demeanor, but don't be fooled as I possess a dynamic set of tools that has proven invaluable in getting my clients what they want. From exploration to closing, your journey will be met with guidance, responsiveness, professional expertise, and clear communication.  I do not believe in complacency. I do believe in remaining a hard-working and dedicated student of my trade, each day uncovering new opportunities to better serve clients and their community.  I come ready to ride the wave alongside you during your very own buying or selling experience, and work tirelessly to protect your interests every step of the way.  Let's get there together! When not practicing real estate, my time is filled with simple adventures with my family and friends such as walks through our neighborhood, cooking, hiking, camping, backyard BBQ’s, long-boarding, exploring Portland's food scene, Timbers matches and making improvements to our 1920′s Bungalow.
