Getting Bizarre in St Johns!

By Living Room Realty, May 9, 2018

It’s party time, people!

Mark your calendars, the 12th Annual St Johns Bizarre is almost here! On May 12th from 10am to 7pm, the city of St Johns is putting on it’s party hat and celebrating the quirky, charming, and unique residents of our most beloved northerly neighborhood. It’s the kick-off of the street fair season and features a Makers Fair, amazing live music from some of Portland’s hottest bands, and The St Johns Parade, which is in it 56th year!

The St. Johns Parade has been a tradition in the North Portland area since 1962. People from near and far look forward to this event every year. Many families have their favorite viewing spot and many who have moved away come home for this special weekend to watch the floats, bands, drill teams, and horses. Parade participants from the early years are now watching their children and grandchildren as they march or ride the parade route!

So gather the fam and head up to NoPo for a day of fun! The parade starts at noon, the makers fair will be all day, and there will be music on multiple stages. See you there!
