After a month on the market, multiple offers came in and my seller chose a terrific buyer, a veteran for whom the property was the perfect fit. In selling their Aloha home, Robert and Suzanne are making a long planned dream come true by moving to the Oregon Coast. Their new home will be Lincoln City near Devils Lake and as I write this, they are busy making that move. Along with 15+years of living in one place to sort, there are two dogs, one cat and 10 aquariums to transfer.
It is only with great & good natured cooperation between clients and agents that such transitions can realistically be made. From the terrific buyer’s agent, Jay, to the likewise wonderful buyer’s agent at the coast, Gail, the communication was great. Thanks, too to the buyer for his flexibility on the needed rent back, a must in these connect the escrow scenarios. The transactions weren’t hurdle free but with good people all around, all challenges were easily met. My biggest appreciation goes to my clients, Robert and Suzanne who stepped up on every suggestion and task. Clients who take feedback and run with it are golden.
I am excited for them to realize this dream of living in Lincoln City! Historic footnote, Lincoln City is actually a formation of smaller communities back in 1965 when Cutler City, Delake, Nelscott, Oceanlake, Taft and Wecoma merged. If you haven’t visited (or haven’t been in a while), it’s an area super worthy of exploration, don’t just drive through on 101! Much more than the outlet mall and casino, there’s wonderful eats to be found, quirky local culture and of course, it is the “Kite Capital” of the world as witnessed on any breezy day on the 7 mile stretch of beach.
