Grand Designs, a fantastic UK-based show streaming on Netflix, tells the story about starry-eyed owners creating their dream home. I highly recommend it if you love great design. The show is especially fun due to the realistic portrayal of the design-build process, which can be as grueling as it is rewarding.
Alice and Matt love great design – and we’ve been trying to find their dream home for more than 2 years. They are in a terrific 2 bed/1 bath home now, bought when they were a couple. But they have been a family of four for 6 years, and more space is needed.
What to do when everything disappoints in some way or another? Take on a home that needs everything, but also offers fantastic views, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a tremendous yard for romping! And then get busy making it what you want.
I can’t wait to see what they do with this remodel!
