Portland’s Foster-Powell neighborhood is very exciting these days! Great dining options, unique local shops, and seriously upgraded transportations options make this a great place to call home.
The Foster Transportation Streetscapes Project was completed in June of 2019. It demonstrates the city’s focus on developing this great Portland Neighborhood and its infrastructure for future growth. Real Estate appreciation in FoPo is currently down by just under 5%. This year, however, the neighborhood experienced just under 15% in appreciated market values from 2017-2018. WOW- that is fantastic for those that own already in the area.
Despite the current depreciation, this incredible home flew off the market.
Dan and Kate (sellers) were, somewhat unexpectedly, needing to make a homing (more than housing) change with their family top of mind. While this home was considered new construction, they were a part of the building process and helped crafted many custom moments and finishes.
With a shortlist to-do’s, my interior styling and marketing, we were ready to find the new owners. This highly efficient, new home with loads of character was well priced and we were able to get it on the market in about 1 week. Multiple offers and 30 days later, Dan and Kate have sold the home they helped create. They are now free to decide what their next adventure is and make what is best for their family to happen more easily.
