Hanging in there pays off

By Greg Washington, July 23, 2018

If this post looks familiar to you, you’re right!  I posted this last week, but didn’t have a photo of my clients, who were on vacation.  I thought they deserved to have their photo attached to the blog, to celebrate the purchase of their first home.  So, here’s what I wrote last week:

When my clients, Lakesha and Roy and their two boys, starting looking for a house, we knew it was going to be a challenge.  They were in a difficult price range, with lots of competition for every house that came on the market.  We made a few offers but didn’t come out on top.  I knew it was tough on them – to look at a house and get excited and then have the price go out of reach.  But I’m thrilled to say that their patience and persistence paid off and they will be closing on their new house this week.  So, congratulations to Lakesha, Roy and the boys – if anyone deserves this, it’s you!
