| I am thrilled to share that our Earth Day event on April 22, 2025 was a resounding success! While we had hoped to see more faces, the energy, passion, and commitment of those who attended made the day truly special. For those who couldn’t join us, you missed an inspiring gathering of eco-conscious individuals and local organizations dedicated to making a difference in your home, in your yards, and in the Portland community.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible sponsors and vendors. You can easily celebrate Earth Day everyday with these local resources: GreenSavers – Alex, Ryan, and Elizabeth, your setup and information shared was outstanding. I will continue to refer my clients to GreenSavers to upgrade their home’s building envelope for peak energy performance. Amy Whitworth of Plan-it Earth Design – Your insights on sustainable landscape design were enlightening. I pledge to create a rain garden in my own yard in the next year. And I’ll be contacting you for tips! Eli Spevak of Electrify PDX – Thank you for championing clean energy solutions. Your presentation and materials were top notch. With Oregon’s goal of zero emissions by 2040, your mission to Go Electric, is critical and extremely relevant. Carlie Clemens of Stonebridge Mortgage – The crystals you shared from the late Ed’s House of Gems were both beautiful and slightly nostalgic. You graciously represented two businesses in support of sustainable housing upgrades AND energetically charging the community. Erica Martin of Simpson’s Refill Co. – Your commitment to reducing waste is truly commendable. I love that you live in the community you serve, making your footprint that much smaller; and I hope that people from around the Portland metro will continue to discover and support your business.
