My dear friend reached out to me to find a home; she was ready to move back to Portland (insert squeal of joy) and certainly everyone welcomed the suggestion with open arms. We FaceTimed the first home that we were both adamant to see, it’s one we both kept coming back to as we watched it weave in and out of pending, our hopes right along with it. Our hearts hopeful and imagination wild of what fun this new home would bring- we made an offer (physical sight unseen for her! Yikes!); with a little negotiation, we got a yes! Just to be sure, we toured several homes while she was in Portland.. we just couldn’t shake the perfection and relaxation of our first prized find and we sealed the deal. She promptly flew up from sunny California and solidified the love for this treehouse beauty nestled in the hills of West Portland. A very VERY patient buyer and a wonderful seller and their agent made this transaction close right before the holidays, where she could finally nestle under her Christmas tree with her kiddos and make New Year’s wishes and dreams in their gorgeous new home.
