It’s an Ice Cream Sort of Day

By Andee Zeigler, June 11, 2019

Starting the buying process in early Portland spring makes for a roller coaster of weather experiences. Sometimes you’re hustling to a door during an absolute downpour and sometimes your sweating it out on a magically hot day. Aside from the great selection of our spring inventory, this is an awesome time to get a true sense of the house in various seasons. It is helpful to see how dry a basement is on those rainy days and how hot an attic space is on those sunny days.  It usually means that it will close when the weather has started to turn to true summer heat. Like today, the thermometer read 97 degrees as I handed over keys to my sweet clients.

When a client closes on a house I often like to go over prior to giving them keys and stock their kitchen with snacks and drinks for moving day.  However, today called for more than snacks and drinks; this calls for a freezer full of ice cream and popsicles….and some chilled champagne!
