Journey to finding this NE Oasis

By Living Room Realty, May 14, 2021

I have been working with Adam on and off for the past 2 years on finding a home in Portland. As he is a set designer in the film industry, the search was pretty dependent on when and where he was working. However, during the pandemic Adam had long pauses at work and while he was waiting for things to get back to a normal flow, he felt it was a good time to continue his house hunt. Since it had been about a year from the last time we were looking, I told him to get prepared that the market had intensified and it could be a bit of a journey to finding him the perfect home. Lucky for Adam, it turned out to be a pretty short amount of time until we found his home as it was the second house we toured. After all the time and effort of us trying to find Adam the perfect home made the finding of this gem so much sweeter! This house is the epitome of everything he wanted with an extra layer of coolness added to it. Though it’s a bit farther east than he wanted, this midcentury modern home overcompensates with its picturesque setting, lush garden and backyard. Of course, With how amazing this home was, it led to a multiple buyer situation and even though we weren’t the highest bidder, the seller loved our whole package and picked Adam! Congrats to Adam on getting the coolest house in Portland!
