We closed yesterday on this vintage gem near the Farmers market, just minutes away from the Hollywood theatre, Trader Joes and all the offerings of the Hollywood business district. My sellers bought the property in the late 1980’s to use as their family dental practice which they did for some twenty-plus years. After retirement, the sellers rented the property until it became time to simplify life and sell. Doing so was not an easy decision –although it wasn’t a personal residence for my sellers, the property held many happy memories of a well loved career as a dentist, a space full of connections to people.
I’ve had the honor to work with these sellers before, first, to sell their long term family residence in Grant Park back in 2012 and then a few years ago, to sell their father’s home in McMinnville. One true thing that stands out each time we work together is what good stewards they have been…and by that, I don’t mean they have the shiniest updated kitchens or on trend upgrades. I mean that they have cared about and for the properties they’ve owned. I have so valued that they get that properties and the land will live on well past their tenure and during their time, they simply owe their best efforts to caretake.
Here’s to my sellers as they close this proverbial, well lived chapter!
