Keeping it in the Framily

By Living Room Realty, November 5, 2020

Every sale is special and unique to me. I love getting to know new clients, hearing their story and bonding over what is likely the largest purchase they’ve made to date in their lifetime. I am consistently humbled and flattered with repeat clients that come back to me for round two and three of their home purchase. Though there is something incredibly special about selling the home of a close friend.. It’s a different feeling, and one I don’t take lightly. People say “don’t do business with friends!” But that’s exactly what I do, it’s the heart of my job! I recently had the honor of listing my dear friend’s townhome.. These are friends that are deeper than the simple word; they are women I know I could call on at midnight if I ever needed help, have spent countless hours together in both tears and laughter, weekend wine tastings and family hardships, softball tournaments and health scares- we are there for each other and listing their home was no different. We’d gone back and forth about selling their townhouse over the last 18 months.. whether they  should keep it as a rental, or sell and invest it otherwise. Finally we were ready to go live, with neighboring sales dictating our sales price and a few small bumps in the road- we got an offer from a buyer that fell in love with the townhome and wanted to make it their own. Holding Champagne in one hand and a margarita in the other, I congratulate my Framily on the closing of their chapter. Thank you for trusting me and letting me represent you, I love you both so very much! Cheers to many more memories together!
