North Portland neighborhoods each have their distinct delights. Kenton is full of them. From the enjoyable local shops along the main stretch of Denver Avenue to the easy access to 1-5 and Columbia Blvd, there is a lot that draws people to become residents of this special neighborhood. Zia is one of those lovely people. She knew she wanted to live in North Portland, and was hoping for something in Kenton. When the super stylish 3 bedroom/ 2 bath on N Curtis came to market, she raced right over to preview it.
The owners just happened to have done some amazing upgrades on the home; new roof, new kitchen, new flooring. It was just what Zia was hoping for. We scurried to put together a great offer and beat out the competition with really strong terms and a great local lender.
The entire team, from the sellers, their agent, the incredible lender who saved the day after a scare with a low appraisal, everyone was just dynamite to work with. I went over yesterday to bring Zia a closing gift and a bottle of champagne to celebrate her new place and we drooled over the parrot tulips coming up all over her spectacular front yard. She showed me the paint colors she had selected for her bedroom and the main living spaces. We walked around her front patio talking about the arched trellis she is going to install along the front walkway. It was such a perfect Spring dream come true. Congratulations ZIA!!!
