The phone call went something like this: “Do you really think we have to revamp our kitchen before selling our home? We have these b-l-u-e counter tops with light baby yellow tiles on our back splash. Our kitchen doesn’t feel like the rest of our home. Can I send you some photo’s off my phone so you can see what I mean?” said Shelley.
And that’s how our story started. After a quick visit to the house, Chris and I declared that the blue must go. We threw out some practical idea’s which we had learnt from kitchen renovations in melbourne about the materials that don’t cost and arm-and-a-leg. Materials we use all the time, know the cost, where to purchase and if its in stock. With only 1 1/2 weeks, this amazing family pulled together, and executed the plan. They did this. They did it on a budget and tight timeline. All five of them chipped together working as a team to make it happen. I’m so tickled that they did it. Its so hard to remodel while living in a space. Add three children to that mixture, and you can only imagine. So proud of them! WOW!
