Let’s Get It Millenials

By Living Room Realty, July 5, 2018

Being in Real Estate as a 26 year old has been such an interesting experience. When I tell people that I’m a realtor, the reaction is always the same – “must be super easy with this market!” Well, not exactly. Most of my clientele are around my age and first time home buyers. The past 4 years have been incredibly hard getting first time home buyers into homes due to the lack of inventory and the overall level of competition. More people want to move here, so seeing homes go pending after one, two or three days was common. Seeing homes receive double digit offers was also common. The market was easy on sellers, but brutal for buyers.

Every year has been interesting because of this, but this year has felt different. I’ve had a lot more luck getting my first time home buyers into contract. One of which closed on this beauty above! It’s a close in, 3/2 that is cute and move in ready. We also got a brand new roof! All of it for under $400k. Congratulations Stanley!
