Len moved to Portland a year ago and rented an apartment in NW while he figured out where he wanted to buy. His big priorities were room for a dog, hot tub and a piano and close to restaurants. We looked at a LOT of houses but what he wanted in the locations he liked seemed to always be just out of his budget. We wrote significantly over-full-price offers on 2 houses before he found his home. Again we had a multiple-offer situation, including one equal to his but he carefully drafted a letter to the seller that won him this charming 1920s house close to everything .
Now to find the right dog!
