Local Highlight – Freeland Spirits’ Spiced Pear Fizz

Named after the founder’s grandmother, Freeland Spirits is one of the nation’s few all woman owned distilleries. Famous for their array of gin, these women of the craft know how to make your cocktail sparkle. Visit their tasting room on NW Vaughn to partake in their spirits and grab a bottle of any of their gin to create their Spice Pear Fizz. Happy Holidays!

SPICED PEAR FIZZ

2 oz Freeland Gin or Freeland Dry Gin

1.5 oz pear juice

.75 oz thyme simple syrup

.75 oz lemon juice

4-5 dashes Fee Brother’s cardamom bitters

1 small dash vanilla extract (optional)

top with sparkling water

Build ingredients into a Collins glass. Top with ice and sparkling water. Garnish with pear slices or thyme sprig.
