Love is in the Air

By Living Room Realty, November 17, 2020

I’ve known Jaime for 20 years; we’ve been through moves, graduations, child birth, celebrations and devastations. She is more than a friend to me; she is as close to a sister as I will ever experience. We sold her house in January as she embarked on a new chapter which would quickly take an unexpected (but very welcomed) turn. She met a man that treated her the way every fairytale had promised. Warm and caring, strong and intelligent but most importantly a true gentleman. The two have been tied at the hip since I’ve met him, so it came as no surprise when they told me they were ready to join households and buy a home together. With a specific list of needs, we began the hunt. After several days of touring, we pulled up to the last house. It had stunning curb appeal, plenty of space and a kitchen that would happily host game nights, Thanksgiving meals, and endless laughter. “This is it… this is our home, honey..” I heard her whisper to him with a sparkle in her eye. I watched them hug in agreement as we made a successful offer on the house that today became their home. I couldn’t be happier for both of them, and I look forward to creating many memories together in the beautiful space!
