Katie loved her home in N Portland and wanted to stay in the neighborhood, so we focused her search there. Turns out, she wasn’t the only one looking, surprise! And, yes it took more than one (7) offer before she got her home but there were at least 7 great things about the process: 1. She was fun to spend time with. 2. She didn’t get discouraged about losing so many offers. 3. I got to know her and her taste in houses really well. 4. We were sharing a bottle of wine in Dundee with her mom and best friend when we found out the offer was accepted. 5. The house she ended up in is in SE Portland, just blocks from Mt. Tabor. 6. She has a whole neighborhood to explore and come to love. 7. The best thing of all is that when I gave her the keys, she proclaimed it was her favorite house out of all the offers we had written and she was glad she ended up where she did. Music to my ears.
