Make it Work Attitude

By Living Room Realty, February 14, 2020

I was fortunate enough to meet Amber through a friend/past client who sent her my way. She was living in Battle Ground Washington with her three children, all of whom attended school in SE Portland. The near four hour commute everyday to get her kids to and from school was drastically cutting into their quality time spent together as a family. It was clearly time to make a change after doing this commute for several years.

Once her Battleground home received an accepted offer, we immediately began searching for their new home in Portland.  Throughout the process Amber and her children always kept a “we can make it work” attitude despite some real fixers we looked at, and we looked at a lot of them! Walking into this home for the first time, she and the kids never once said, “we can make this one work”, instead it  was a home that worked for them! They excitedly moved from room to room and found this home to have everything they were looking for and more.

We knew we needed to move quickly in order to secure it, so we submitted a strong offer that same afternoon. Ultimately, this home was destined to be theirs and I could not be happier for them! They now can spend evenings together playing and making memories instead of commuting to and from Portland. Congratulations Amber and kiddos!!
