For those looking to get into a hot housing market, it’s harder than ever. December we hit an all time low of .08 months of inventory. This means if we stopped listing houses, all the houses would be sold in less than a month!
The last several years, months of inventor has hovered between 1.5-2.5 months of inventory. In 2016 we saw the lowest around 1.5 months. Meanwhile, despite the low inventory, we are seeing record sales in December, which is historically a pretty slow month for sales. All this to say… the market is hot!
