Some stories just feel meant to be and this is definitely one of them! My Bridge to Portland Group partner, Sharon Marciniak and I had the absolute pleasure of working together to help Jennifer and Josh, their three awesome kids, and their two sweet dogs find their perfect Portland home.
After years living in Norco, California, Jennifer and Josh knew they wanted to come back to Portland and put down roots and we were so excited to help them make that happen. Jennifer was actually born here and (spoiler alert!) she spent her early childhood in the same neighborhood where the family just bought their new house!
But the journey wasn’t without a few adventures—they lived in two short-term rentals while house hunting—but they kept such a positive attitude through it all. And trust me, it was so worth it!
In a total twist of fate, I came across an off-market opportunity that felt like it was just meant for them. They were open to touring the home and, the second they all saw it, they knew it was the one and honestly, so did we. They fell in love with the beautiful garden and landscaping and their girls immediately called dibs on the basement!
Because we found the home before it officially hit the market, Jennifer and Josh were able to snag it without having to compete with other buyers—a huge win in this early spring market!
Now the real fun begins: moving in, making it their own, and building a brand new chapter back where it all started. Sharon and I couldn’t be happier for them, and we’re so honored to have been part of their journey!
