New Home, Best Life

By Living Room Realty, January 14, 2022

I  met Kim and Paul seven years ago when they first moved to Portland from Kansas. At that time, they were moving in order to be closer to their son who was attending Portland State University.

When they first moved to Oregon, they were excited about the urban opportunities that Portland offered. Because of this, they chose a home in the heart of South East, with great walkability near many local amenities.. While this home served them well for many years, as time their lives changed, so did the qualities they were needing in a home and a community .

Now, seven years later, after their son’s graduation, they crave a different lifestyle that could be better facilitated in a new home. At this point in their lives, being close to hiking trails, parks, and recreational facilities is essential. So, they reached out to talk about the possibility of selling and buying something better suited to their current needs. They decided to look at homes a little further outside of Portland where they can have easy access to these natural amenities all the while staying close to the vibrant bustle of Portland. In their search, we happened upon a beautiful home nestled in Happy Valley. Their dream home!

I have been so honored to have helped Kim and Paul sell their previous house and to navigate the process of buying a new home that better fits their lifestyle. I wish them many happy years in their new home, and lots of happy memory making!
