How often do someone get to help their friends become their next door neighbors?
This September I had the privilege of helping friends become my next door neighbors. In a competitive situation our offer prevailed on a historic home on the Alameda ridge where multiple nearby families were jockeying to become the next owners. With strong terms and a commitment to collaboration, we successfully closed on the home where my friends are already tackling numerous renovation projects.
Summer beers and lemonades on one another’s decks, a shared basketball hoop we plan to install in the coming months and sharing tools are among the countless benefits we are already enjoying!
