A New Start for Everyone

Heidi and Justin couldn’t deny that they were outgrowing their beloved first house in Milwaukie. When they moved in, they had baby toys and cribs but now at 9 and 11, their kiddos needed room to spread their wings…or at least their legos and American Girl dolls. When I first met with this active family we talked about what they’ve loved about their house and what they’re ready to leave behind. After telling me about countless family BBQ’s in the expansive backyard and low maintenance care of a newer home plus good commute times to jobs, we decided to look in Happy Valley. At first we found mostly 4 story layouts with access to the backyard being on the bottom floor which was a no-go for their family dogs. At last we found the perfect layout on a quiet street with a sprawling dog-friendly, kid-loving backyard, large bedrooms and a rec-room that tween dreams are made of.

In the meantime back in Milwaukie, first time home buyers swarmed their family home. After fielding several offers and comparing the pros and cons of each, they chose a new buyer to begin their lives in this perfect starter home. With some finesse and team work we were able to close on both homes within a couple of days of each other and just like that, new memories are being made.
