Patience is a Virtue

By Living Room Realty, July 2, 2021

The Portland market has both buyers AND sellers second guessing every move. You own a home, and it’s a great time to sell! But… once you sell, you’re a buyer! I had the honor of representing my client’s sale as well as new purchase. Their military background shined though with our punch list of listing prep. I couldn’t believe the efforts they put in, and in such a short amount of time. They knew that the buyer’s market was nearly impossible but felt inclined to start looking just to understand what they were in for. They wanted to be closer to work and a  more walkable area for the family and pup.. They fell madly in love with a home but their own house wasn’t even yet listed! We pulled together as a team, and listed the home quicky. An incredible early 1900’s bungalow in NE Portland, a true gem! We received an offer the first weekend it went on the market and were able to put an offer on the new house they so dearly loved! With a tenant involved, and everyone on both buying ends being more than flexible.. we finally arrived; the Domino Effect coming to a close. I wish everyone the best in their future, as we take a deep breath and honor that Patience, is truly, a virtue.
