I met Ben and Gina at the beginning of 2020. Early on in the process it became clear that they were looking for a very unique home in a very very small geography. Add to this that the geography was among the most popular in Portland and then couple that with a price point that has proven to be among the most competitive in our market this calendar year.
For the first 6 months of the search we saw just a couple homes. Months would go by with nothing to look at, but our collective patience was rewarded when an old Portland just a block from Unthank Park hit the market in September. It was perfect. It had the right yard, the right location and the right amount of work needed for Ben to embrace his carpentry skills (which was another goal of our search.) Patience paid off and today I am over the moon to see Ben and Gina in their first home, already knee deep in projects!
